7 Conscious Beauty Kits Worth Buying

7 Conscious Beauty Kits Worth Buying

Trying to create a more conscious beauty routine? While conscious beauty products aren’t usually the low-cost side, beauty sets are a great way of getting our hands on a curated selection of products for a fraction of the price.

Even though most beauty kits only include travel-size products, it usually brings more than enough quantity to get an idea if the product works for us or not. On the other hand, makeup sets are a great chance to get our hands on a nice selection of mini products that will last for months (years).

Skincare and makeup beauty sets are pretty easy to find these days at most beauty stores (online and on physical locations). While some brands keep these on their ongoing collection, others see the holiday season as the perfect moment to launch their product kits.

Here’s a small selection of conscious skincare and makeup sits.

ILIA Beauty Meet the Minis

If you’re into clean beauty, chances are you’ve come across ILIA Beauty products while browsing online or looking for eco-conscious inspiration on Pinterest.

ILIA Beauty is one of the most recognized and acclaimed brands in the clean beauty segment, and it’s easy to understand why: its formula and the quality of its products. This is probably the first brand ever whose product descriptions really matched the actual experience.

The “Meet the Minis” set includes a lip mask, a lip tint, an eyeshadow, and mascara. All this for 32 euros. Even though all products are travel-sized, you still get a lot of product that you’ll be able to use for months.

Feel free to read my honest review on this beauty set.

Milk Makeup Glossy Glow Set

While ILIA Beauty is more on the niche side, Milk Makeup is more hyped and mainstream. But their products are still cruelty-free, mostly vegan, and made with natural ingredients.

The brand is highly known for its minimalist packaging and its “stick” formulas.

This “Glossy Glow Set” comes packed with goodies: a lip plumper, a matte bronzer, its famous Hydro Grip primer, and its volume mascara. All the products come inside a plastic pouch that you can reuse over and over, and that is especially handy to keep your precious belongings safe inside your handbag on a rainy day.

I’ve already had the chance to review Milk Makeup’s volume mascara, as well as some other products of theirs. This might help you make up your mind if you’re considering purchasing this kit.

Les Cultissemes x REN Clean Skincare

REN Clean Beauty focuses on creating skincare products with sensitive skin in mind. Using only natural ingredients that are sustainably sourced. Their packaging is also sustainable.

The bad news? Their products are more on the high-end side of the price tag. So, if you’ve been curious about any of their products (like their “Ready Steady Glow AHA Toner”), this is the perfect opportunity to do it.

The Les Cultissemes set includes some of REN’s most iconic products, like the AHA Toner, the Evercalm Face Mask, and the Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream.

I’ve been trying the Ready Steady Glow AHA Toner for a few weeks now (travel-size format, of course) and I can really tell the difference. My skin no longer looks as dull as it used to lately.

So, given my positive experience with this REN product, I am quite tempted about getting one of these sets for myself.

Antipodes Moisture Boost Minis

Well, here’s another one of those cult clean beauty brands: Antipodes. A brand that was born to create natural skincare products that were as effective as conventional ones.

Even though their products are easier to find these days, they’re definitely not cheap. Luckily, the brand has several sets available, so we can get a chance to discover by ourselves.

The Moisture Boost Minis retails for 20 euros and includes three of the brand’s most iconic products: the Aura Manuka Honey Mask, the Worship Skin Defence Antioxidant Serum, and the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream.

There are also other sets available at Sephora and theCosmetics, if you’d like to take a look at them.

Burt’s Classics Collection

OK, this is one of my all-time favorite conscious beauty brands. It’s not the first time that I write about Burt’s Bees here at The Sustainablist. Feel free to read the reviews on their lip care products, as well as an honest review on some of their most iconic lip balms.

Besides their lip products, I’ve also had the chance to test some of their hand care products during the past few months and I am also quite pleased with the experience.

While product sets are available all year round at Burt’s Bees website, the brand always launches a few special ones around this time of the year.

If I could only pick one, it would definitely be the Burt’s Classics Collection. As it includes a classic lip balm and a tinted lip balm (perfect to give a special touch to your look), a face moisturizer, and a body lotion. Oh, it retails for 16,95 euros - a bargain!

Would you like to try other sorts of Burt’s Bees products? Well, worry not. They have plenty of product sets on their website, so I am pretty sure you’ll find one that suits your needs.

Also, if it’s your first time on Burt’s Bees website, feel free to add the code MARISA-R4 while creating your account.

Rare Beauty Selena’s Faves Mini Set

Even though Rare Beauty doesn’t exactly fall into the clean beauty category, it sure does fall into the conscious beauty one.

Their products are vegan and cruelty-free, and its brand philosophy is all about makeup that makes us feel good without hiding what makes us unique. Plus, 1% of the sales goes to the Rare Impact Fund, whose purpose is to increase access to mental health services in educational settings.

I’ve recently purchased a couple of Rare Beauty products that I am currently testing to write a review (coming up soon), and I am quite pleased with the experience so far.

The brand has just launched the “Selena’s Faves Mini Set” for the holiday season and it’s a must if you’ve been eyeing some of their products for a while now. Also, it retails for 30 euros, which is a bargain.

This set includes a dewy liquid blush, a liquid luminizer, a matte lip cream, and their acclaimed mascara. Definitely, a must-have!

On The Wild Side Le Rituel Essentiel

While On The Wild Side might not be as well-known as the other brands on the list, their products look equally good in terms of ingredients.

So, if you’re looking for a brand new clean beauty brand or you’ve been wanting to try their products - this is your chance!

The “Le Ritual Essentiel” set includes two of their main products: a cleansing oil and a day cream. Which is the perfect duo for any skincare routine.
