Yes, it’s still a minority when compared to the high-street alternatives. But it’s a start, a good start.

La Positiva
Located right in the heart of Madrid, within walking distance from Sol, Atocha, and Museo del Prado, I am sure that La Positiva will make you fall in love.
This small store is packed with beautiful and carefully picked sustainable items. From clothes to accessories, to decoration and personal care. Most of the products (if not all of them) are from small and sustainable Spanish brands.
Everything is so beautiful and has such a strong brand mission behind, that you’ll probably want one of each (I do, but I can’t… and I shouldn’t).

As a sustainable living enthusiast you’ve probably heard this name somewhere: ECOALF.
This sustainable Spanish brand is well-known and has can be found outside Spain. Created to leave a better planet for the next generations, ECOALF creates products out of plastic removed from the oceans and sustainable cotton.
T-shirts, sweaters, winter jackets, and sneakers are some of the sustainably made products that you can find at ECOALF. Also, for every item you purchase from their “Because” collection, 10% goes to the ECOALF foundation - whose mission is to clean up the oceans.
